Where do I start? It started it’s life as dark blue, then it was partly restored and painted green some years ago.
Fortunately for me I bought it from a farmer who took it as a payment for cows and had no interest for it.
In January it went for full restoration and all going well it will be completed in the next two weeks and ready for daylight again. And not a moment too soon. To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’m even dreaming about Beetles in my sleep and I don’t think my wallet can take much more😂😂
Ah, it’ll be well worth it.
*UPDATE 28-1-19* Chris emailed through the photos of his newly finished Beetle. It looks amazing. Congratulations on a top job Chris. Looking forward to seeing your Beetle out and about this summer. I think it makes sense to change his cover photo to the finished Beetle.
