“I am a private collector and this is my first Beetle. Imported from South Africa in 2025. It had three previous long term owners.”
Thanks to the owner for submitting their immaculate Oval Window Beetle to our census. I had the pleasure of seeing this very Beetle at the event that we ran last weekend (September 12th 2026) in the Western Motors, Galway. The event was called The Showroom Takeover, and we did just that! We filled Western Motors Volkswagen Galway’s showroom with aircooled Volkswagens for the day!
This Oval Window Beetle stole the show. I cannot tell you just how well this has been restored. The radio is restored and once the aerial is up, there isn’t even a crackle from the speaker. It’s all about the attention to detail, in every aspect. No matter where you look, you will see quality and no corners were cut in the restoration of this Beetle. The owner definitely got a very special Beetle when he added this Oval to his collection.
