Info

Now if this striking Beetle doesn’t catch your eye I don’t know what will. It’s a Limerick City registered Beetle but looks nothing like it did when it left Frank Hogan’s VW showroom on 8th February 1974 heading to its St. Mary’s Park home. From our records it looks like UTI744 wasn’t taxed until April 4th 1974.

The reason is probably down to the fact that it’s had a total restoration which included a ragtop roof, earlier 6 volt wings, sloping headlights, pre-67 rear lights and towel rail bumpers, not to mention that gorgeous metallic paint. Other features include wide chrome wheels and a reupholstered interior in white with dark piping as well as a Mountney steering wheel. Overall, this is one smart looking Beetle.
