Thanks to the owner and restorer of this rare 1300S / Power Pack Beetle for sending through some information and some current images. We have some images on file of it as it was before the restoration so we have added them to this listing.
Just looking at the two photos as this 1300S sits now and you will see that the new owner has done an amazing job in restoring it back to factory fresh condition and we wish him many miles of happy motoring. “I bought this Beetle from a woman in Monaghan. It’s an original Galway registered 1300S Beetle with the registration number JZM 652. The Beetle was brought up to the north as some stage and was on northern reg for 2 or 3 years. The Monaghan lady bought it from the owner in Northern Ireland and once back in Monaghan, she was able to get the original Galway registration back on the Beetle.
I’m after restoring her back again to keep her alive. Any info on the car would be great.”
