This was the one and only time this Jeans Beetle was photographed in Ireland as far as we know. It’s a 1974 model, as all Jeans Beetles were, but it’s wearing a 1976 Sligo registration number so we can only assume it was imported into Ireland from the UK in late 1975 and registered the following February. This photo was taken in the car park of the Parkway Shopping Centre in Limerick back in April 1990
