This charming Beetle is, believe it or not, still owned by it’s first owners!! Gerry & Liz from Co. Meath bought this 1200 model brand new in 1971 and it’s been a much-loved part of the family ever since.
I first met Gerry and Liz through the Southern Volks Folks in the late ’90s and went to shows and events with them for the next few years. I met them again last year at a show and 20 years after first meeting them, they’re still bringing their pride and joy to shows all over the country!
