We found this old engine lid recently. It’s a 1967 engine lid but that is sadly all that was left of the January 1967 registered Beetle as it was scrapped nearly 30 years ago. There’s not much to report on it but it’s important to add it to the census on VWs in Ireland anyway. And you never know, someone might recognise the registration number and have some old photos or stories about this 1967 Beetle.
