Early Bay Minibus

This Bay Window Minibus was submitted by someone who spotted it in a place called Myshall in County Carlow back in May 2013. It was looking a little worse for wear back then and if it wasn’t dealt with soon it would probably become too rusty to restore, financially anyway.
This June 1972 Dublin registered Bay Window looks to have been painted more than once but as it sits, it looks like it was/is Niagara Blue (L53D) under Pastel White (L90D). Having not been taxed since at least 1992 and sitting out in the elements, the future is not looking too bright for 9036 ZD but we’ve been surprised on many occasions when long forgotten VWs appear from a long restoration. Maybe this will be one of those VWS!
