“This is my 1977 Karmann Beetle Cabriolet, registration number 77 D 193. It was first registered here in Ireland when it was imported from the UK in June 1992. Its UK registration number was BMM434. I’m not sure when it was imported into the UK from the US. Being an American Beetle it’s left hand drive of course. It has a 1600cc engine and I have owned her since 1996.”
