1200 Beetle, Base Model, and Base Model Beetle

This Base Model was given a sprinkling of pizazz with a fresh repaint in metallic teal paint. The black bumpers really suited this last off the line Beetle now that it had metallic paint to bring it right up to date, and date being late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Still, even by today’s standards this Beetle wouldn’t let its owner down at a show.
Sadly I don’t think this Beetle made it into the next century as it has not been seen since these photos were taken.
