Our own Trev captured this Beetle from an RTE clip. It shows a blue Beetle wearing the registration number 2401 ZD.
What we know is that this Beetle was assembled in Ireland in March 1972. It was painted Gentian Blue (L51D) and fitted with a 1200cc engine. It was collected from MDL on the Naas Road and brought to Ballsbridge Motors and was sold later that month.
