This 1976 Beetle was christened “Pearl” by its owner in the early ’00s due to its lovely custom pearlescent paint job. It was a regular in the Southern Volks Folks-attended events in those days and Johnny, its owner was a big part of the club. It has undergone a renovation in more recent years and has been spotted in a new red colour scheme.
It’s photographed here at the Trim Classic Car show in 2001.
