Who doesn’t love a well used Double Cab? Their popularity has risen quite dramatically in the last number of years and that means if you want one you will have to stump up a lot more money than you may have hoped. Gone are the days when commercial Bay Windows were stripped of their 1600cc engine and the rest binned. Now, these are the dream machines for many VW enthusiasts.
This is one of the last off the line Type 2 Bay Window Double Cabs, or Crewcab if you prefer. It was registered in May 1979 and has managed to survive extremely well for a commercial. It’s got a pretty funky little reg too which is always cool to have.
