Spotted on the side of the street in Fermoy in 2004 by our own Trevor Brady.
“A 1974 Kilkenny reg 1200 Beetle, it looked to be in very good condition at the time. I’ve never seen it again!!”
*UPDATE 12-2-19 From Peter Buckley who once owned this Beetle ZIP 266: Hi there, I used to own this Beetle as well as a 1977 Beetle VKI 539 which I sold to a guy in Galway. I currently own a 1969 1500cc Beetle ZV 60897 which is a South African import.
I bought it from Paddy O’Callaghan in O’Callaghan’s garage in Kanturk back in 1996 I think. I drove it for a number of years and then sold it to a guy in Fermoy.*
