Trevor Brady and Noah Ryan both spotted this Beetle for sale recently. Trevor was contacted by the seller a number of months ago but decided not to go for it as he has too many projects. Noah: “I saw this worse for wear Beetle recently. It was a true barn find that was parked up years ago but the shed/barn it was parked in must have been very damp as it looked like the storage didn’t so any favours for the body on this Beetle. Apparently it was complete and all together. It was sitting on a set of mag wheels. It was the perfect basis for a dune/beach buggy project. It was for sale for a reasonable €450.”
Thanks guys. Much appreciated. This February 1975 Donegal registered 1200 Beetle Deluxe was certainly looking a little sorry for itself and having been on the receiving end of a DIY convertible chop I’d say this car is only suitable for parts or as Noah said, maybe as a base for Buggy.
