Thanks to Tom Dillon for sending in this photo of their old family Beetle. The photo was taken at home in Tipperary.
The Dillon’s Beetle was assembled in early April 1973 in MDL on the Naas Road in Dublin. It was painted Kansas Beige (L91D) and was a 1200 Beetle Deluxe. It was delivered to Spooner’s Volkswagen dealership in late April and was sold to its first owner on May 7th 1973. It was registered with a Tipperary North Riding registration (FI)
