Noah Ryan spotted this August 1977 Beetle for sale back in March 2022. It was being offered for sale by its current owner who had it in storage for a number of years, possibly 20 years. It was in need of restoration but thankfully, having been stored indoors for all of that time, the dreaded rust didn’t manage to take hold so it’s very much a restorable Beetle. The 1200 Deluxe model would have made a lovely restoration project, with just the usual welding required.
This Beetle was assembled in Dublin and finished in Brocade Red (L32A) before being delivered to its first owner in County Monaghan.
