Following on from Ronnie Neville’s 1302LS Beetle, he has been delving into the family archives even more which is great.
“You’ve sent me off on a dive into old photo albums and I’ve come up with this gem. This is me on my confirmation day, aged 10, in 1968 with what was then a brand new white Beetle 1200. Unfortunately the reg doesn’t appear in this photo but I remember it was PZL 927. My father’s first Beetle, which he traded in for this white one, was a red 1962 model, registration no. JZD 267. I’m sure there’s a photo of it somewhere but I’ll need to delve further into the archives to find it.”
