Following on from our last entry (WZB 20) that featured John Kelleher who sold newspapers on the streets of Cork, here is the second still from that same RTE programme ‘Newsbeat’ which was broadcast on 12th November 1969. It’s worth looking up if you have the time as it gives an excellent insight into times gone and how hard John Kelleher had to work to make a living.
The Split Screen Type 2 Single Cab was registered in April 1967 so would have soon been an old model as the new Type 2 Bay Window was soon to hit the streets.
