I bought this Beetle in 2001 from a chap in Douglas in Cork city after getting a tip from the owners friend in Fountainstown and followed it up.
I painted it black but have since painstakingly removed the black to try and keep the original paint underneath. I have lowered it, narrowed it and added Porsche seats, but my taste keeps changing as it just sits in the garage.
Has had a bit of welding done, new wiring loom, rebuilt 1200cc engine and new carpets. The summer of 2019 will see it out again.
