Sumatra Green in the sunshine is a fantastic colour. VW definitely got their colours right in the 1970s.
This 1200 Beetle Deluxe was built in Dublin in early 1972 before heading to Dundalk to be sold and registered to its first owner in February 1972.
We’re not sure of what happened between February 1972 and now but what we can tell you is that it has been restored and is looking absolutely fantastic as you can see from the photos that we took at the Scooters & VWs event in Dundalk on August 4th 2018.
