MLI 633 is a January 1972 Westmeath registered Beetle that I spotted in VW Spares recently. The Beetle is for sale and is a project but one that’s worth saving, like all old Beetles!
As you can see, it needs work in all the usual areas but it’s the perfect candidate for someone looking to learn how to weld and take on their first restoration. This Beetle has been loved before as can be seen from the previous restoration that has happened.
The metallic paint and the Wolfrace wheels really add to this Beetle’s appeal and it will be a comfortable place to be in, as passenger or driver, thanks to the more modern aftermarket seats that a previous owner has fitted.
And the icing on this Beetle cake? It has a 1600c exchange engine fitted so you can happily keep up with modern traffic in your classic Volkswagen Beetle.
