Type 2 Bay Window Panel Van

Thanks have to go out to John Likely who emailed us with these fantastic photographs of his dad’s Early Bay Window Panel Van that he used for work, which as you can see was a heating, plumbing & ventilation specialist based in Ballyshannon, County Donegal.
This March 1970 Panel Van was the first of James’ commercial Bay Windows, the second being a 1976 Late Bay Window Panel Van with the Donegal registration number AZP 242 which is also listed on the Beetle.ie Census.
We can only assume that, like many commercial vehicles that are 50 years old and served their time, both vans are no longer surviving but at least these photos survived to tell the story.
