Info

Darren O’Rourke added this image to the Beetle.ie Census. It’s actually a screengrab from an RTE show hosted by the late Frank Hall and was recorded in Newmarket in County Cork back in the late 1960s, exactly when I do not know but what we do know is that this Irish assembled, Kerry registered Type 3 Variant dated from January 1967 which helps date the television programme somewhat.

Don’t forget to pop over to Darren’s brilliant Facebook page (Original Irish Aircooled VW) and have a look back through the archive of photos uploaded over the years. You won’t be disappointed!
