Our own Trevor Brady spotted this 1977 Donegal registered Beetle for sale in October 2021. The Irish assembled Beetle was being sold for €2,000 and was obviously a restoration project. We’re not quite sure what the original colour was but it looked to have had an interesting and varied life over the years before ending up in Kildare. The 1200 Beetle Deluxe did find a new owner but where that is and what plans they have for GZP 729 we do not know. We wish them all the best with their new project and look forward to seeing it emerging from their garage in the near future.
