“This is my old 1961 Beetle. I owned it many years ago and had intended to restore it but life got in the way so I sold it to a friend of mine who restored Beetles as a hobby. This Beetle was a genuine Irish assembled Beetle and was an original Kilkenny car, still with its original number plates attached. Looking back, it wasn’t in bad condition and would be such a cool car to restore today.”
