This particular Beetle has been in Ireland for quite some time so we will update the listing if it gets an Irish reg but for now we’ll list it on the UK number.
It’s a Last Edition Beetle which was a special edition for the UK market. Only 300 were made in the striking Diamond Silver with blue fabric upholstery. Most were assigned a dash plaque by the dealers but there were quite a few that didn’t get any.
This Last Edition is quite unique in that it has only 16k miles on it from new. The owner tells us that it cost around £2,500 new back in 1978 but is worth quite a lot more than that now!
