Here’s a great shot that was sent in overnight. It’s not a photo but in fact a screenshot from an old RTE archive clip. This 1964 Carlow registered Split Window Minibus is competing with animals, children and general backdrops for the limelight in this image but for us of course, the Splittie wins all the time!
The two-tone Type 2 is a basic model with painted bumpers, no overriders or chrome to be seen and would have been sold from Sheehy’s of Carlow.
