Thanks to eagle-eyed Noah Ryan for this Beetle. It’s a 1973 model that was imported into Ireland and registered in 1981. The now Dublin registered Beetle is a 1300 Deluxe model and we think it could be Phoenix Red (L32K) but it’s hard to tell just from the photo. The engine lid is a Brazilian version so this Beetle has seen some work in its time.
