1979 RHD Karmann Beetle Cabriolet

Hi, Declan Egan here. I bought this 1979 VW Super Beetle (1303) Karmann Convertible back in 2010 in Surrey, England.
It was first registered in Australia hence right hand drive and spent most of its life in different parts of the UK. The car was fully restored between 2017 and 2018 by my brother Sean.
Sean spent many hours stripping, welding, sanding and doing the wonderful paint job on it and all for a big thank you, as no amount of money would pay for all the hard work and sleepless nights that he put in restoring it to its original condition, again thank you.
*Note by Beetle.ie 15-01-19: This Cabriolet is a US spec model and may have been a Triple White originally with white roof, white interior and white paint. It may have been imported to Australia from the US at some point in its life and converted to RHD but we’d love to know more about its past life in Oz.
