Thanks to Thomas Flanagan in Waterford for submitting this photo of an Irish assembled 1200 Beetle Deluxe. Thomas took this photo back in the early 1990s at a Southern Volks Folks Owners Club event in Waterford.
The Ocean Blue (L57H) Beetle was sold through PMPA in Dundalk, County Louth in March 1977 to its first owner in Dublin, hence it received a Dublin registration. For some reason it wasn’t taxed until the end of May.
