This 1977 Havana Brown (LD8A) Beetle popped up on Facebook Marketplace in September 2024. The 1200 Beetle Deluxe was being offered for sale after spending some time in a barn and although it was clearly a restoration project, it looked like it was worth saving. The rear window dealer sticker shows it was sold from O’Callaghan’s of Kanturk, the main VW dealer in the Mallow area where this Beetle was last seen so we are presuming it has always been in the Mallow area.
If you are the new owner we would love to find out more about your new Beetle and your plans for it. This Irish assembled Beetle will hopefully be back on Irish roads again very soon.
