Model information
1302 Karmann Cabriolet and Convertible
Info
It’s not very often that you see a 1302 on this listing and it’s certainly a rarity to see a 1302 Karmann Cabriolet. With their short production run of under two years and Ireland’s lack of sunshine it’s no wonder really.
This particular model was imported by a German owner into Galway in the 1980’s as far as we know. It was registered in Galway and was even seen at some of the regional aircooled meetings but it disappeared for a while. Thankfully now it’s back on the road under new ownership and has seen some miles done to shows like Motorfest Ireland 2019 that was held in Limerick Racecourse. It looks to have been restored and repainted in its original shade of Pastel White (L90D).
The photos show this 1302 at the 2018 Mountbellew Show (Thanks Joe Dempsey for the photo) and at Motorfest Ireland 2019 at the Limerick Racecourse.
