Karmann Ghia Convertible and Type 1 Karmann Ghia
As I upload this listing to the Beetle.ie Census it’s lashing rain outside, winter is on its way and it’s cold but there is something about this Karmann Ghia Convertible tat takes me to a sunnier place! Tony Groome snapped this soft top at the Terenure Show in Dublin back in 2007. It looked fresh and was gleaming in the sunshine.
This October 1969 Karmann Ghia was originally LHD, presumably imported from the USA but has been converted to RHD at some point in its life after leaving US shores. Was it done here or the UK? We don’t know. The EMPI rims look great with the thin whiteband tyres.
If this is your Karmann Ghia, we’re very jealous!
