Splittie and Type 2 Splitscreen

Thanks to Joseph Purfield for submitting this Type 2 Split Screen to the Beetle.ie Census. Joseph snapped this camper in May of 2018 at a show he was at.
The 1963 Splittie may have been a US import but we’re not entirely sure. The paint scheme looks like Pearl White (L87) over Medium Grey (L22), although Medium Grey is a Barndoor colour but it could just as easily be a one-off shade mixed for this Bus. Either way it’s a stunning colour on a beautiful Splittie.
We love the thin whiteband tyres and the awning. Just perfect!
