Geoff Forde grabbed the static photos of this awesome looking Beetle as well as the photos of the happy owner leaving the showground.
The showground is Terenure College where the Irish Jaguar and Daimler Club were hosting their annual Classic and Vintage Car Show on July 6th that year.
From what we can see, this Gulf Blue (L390) 1962 Beetle has been restored to a very high level and given just the slightest adjustment to its ride height to give a perfect stance. The BRM rims add to the look. The LHD Beetle also has some nice accessories to add to the Resto-Cal look such as the pop out rear windows, chrome bumper bracket covers, bumper overriders, side mounted radio aerial and VW logo mudflaps.
