When Trev first showed me these photos, I saw a very neglected looking Beetle that was probably at the end of the road, with its only hope being as a donor car for some parts. Little did I know that this 1977 1200 Beetle Deluxe in Miami Blue (L51C) was going to transform into an absolutely stunning Chesil Speedster. The before and after photos have to be the best I’ve seen in a long time. As I write this, the sun is shining and the temperature is mid 20s so perfect for some cruising in a machine like this Chesil.
