Thanks to Geoff Forde for submitting this latest entry on the Beetle.ie Census. Geoff spotted and photographed this Beetle while attending the Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show in Terenure back in 2014. The shiny brown Bug has clearly been looked after and is the pride & joy of its owner.
Assembled in Dublin in June 1970, the Havana Brown (LD8A) 1200 Beetle Deluxe was registered to it Dublin owner in July 1970, , the 20th to be exact.
Not much has changed in over 50 years apart from the addition of some rear safety belts which is a wise move. The owner is also a member of IVVCC which is the Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club.
