This listing somehow slipped through the net for quite some time. Trevor Brady saw this Beetle back in November 2018 when it was offered for sale by its Galway owner for €3,850.
We’re not sure what ever happened to this 1977 Kilkenny registered Beetle but it looked quite good so could have been put to use almost immediately or used as a good base for a restoration.
UPDATE 16-01-2026 Beetle.ie: Doolin Tourism posted Mrs Red Head’s photo of this Beetle as part of a couple’s wedding celebration in Doolin. It’s great to see this Beetle being used and enjoyed, especially as it is 8 years since we last spotted the Beetle. Congratulations to the happy couple too! Doolin is such an amazing place that we’re sure the couple had an incredible time. If you are ever looking for somewhere special to drive you old VW to, then Doolin is the place.
