Photographed at the Inistioge vintage show in 2001, this 1973 Beetle looked to be largely original with the exception of the earlier “towel rail” deluxe or US-spec 6V bumpers.
I saw it again at the same event in 2002, by which stage it had accumulated no less than four spot lamps under the front bumper!
