Thanks to John for submitting the information and photos of this Beetle. I did see some posts online by the previous owner who bought it in Greece and did a once in a lifetime roadtrip back home to Ireland. The owner was moving out of Ireland again but this time could not take his Beetle with him so he offered it up for sale, which is when John came in to the picture.
“The previous owner drove it from Greece in 2020. He had owned in there for several years as he was living there up until 2020 and apparently it didn’t miss a beat on the journey back home to Ireland. He has recently emigrated to New Zealand so decided to sell it. I bought it from him in September this year (2025) and drove it the 3 hours from his home in Antrim. It drove like a dream and got me home without issue so I was off to a great start!
Being a Greek car from new attracted me to it due to their dry climate. It’s like new underneath!”
