I spotted this really nice 1974 1300 Beetle in Shannon Airport recently. It’s a UK import, registered in the UK in September 1974 but on a ZV plate and although it looks like the owner uses their Beetle on a regular basis and there are a few marks and some small rust spots, it looks to be an extremely original Beetle with no rot in the usual areas. My guess is that this was a very well minded Beetle when in the UK and garaged as it appears to be original paint with excellent shut lines. I could be wrong but either way this is a very nice Beetle and it’s fantastic to see it out and about.
