We know very little about this Australian assembled 1302S but we have Roger O’Sullivan to thank for the photos. Roger snapped this Beetle at various Cork classic car runs from 2011 to 2018.
The Australian import is a 1971 1302S model Beetle that was first registered in Oz in July 1971. The striking colour, which must look amazing in the Australian sunshine, is Avocado Green. If you fancy brightening up your old VeeDub with this shade, then you’ll have to look up the Dulux motor colour charts and go to code number 13176.
