This 1973 US import Beetle was on display at the 2013 running of the Terenure show. We never saw it before and haven’t seen it since. It was imported from New Mexico and although it was originally fuel injected, I’m not sure if it’s still running an injection system. This 1600cc Beetle looked to be in excellent condition, both inside and out. The paint colour looks like Saturn Yellow (L13M) to us. We love the ‘bonnet bra’ on the front, albeit it without the bonnet piece! These clip on vinyl covers are very popular in the US and do actually protect the paint from flying debris and stones that will inevitably his the front of your pride and joy as you cruise to a show.
The Beetle looks to be stock apart from the twin quiet pack exhaust and the EMPI style 8 spoke rims.
