Oval Window Beetle Deluxe

Any Irish assembled and registered Oval Window Beetle is rare thing but it’s even rarer to see in the UK. From what we know, this Oval Window Beetle was exported to the UK and it kept the number when it was transferred to the UK DVLA system, which was a common, and legal practice back in the day. Although having been modified with lowered suspension and banded steelies, this Oval was looking pretty standard. The body was, at the time it was offered for sale in the early 2000s, in need of some restoration work as you would expect but it’s had some work over the years. It looks like this Oval was originally Jungle Green (L315).
We haven’t seen much of this Beetle since it was advertised for sale so hopefully someone else might know a little more than we do and let us know so we can update this listing. It’s a cool looking Oval. We love it!
