Squareback, Type 3, and Variant
Info
This 1973 Kilkenny reg Type3 Variant (or Squareback) was seen languishing in Madden’s breaker’s yard in Kilkenny back around 1998. I salvaged some parts from the two unidentified Beetles beside it for my own Beetle’s restoration at the time but I had no need for any Type3 parts. All three were boxed up shortly after and the yard shut down a couple of years later.
