Here is another Beetle from Keith Nolan’s photo of Fitzwilton House in Dublin, taken back in the late 1970s.
The photo shows two Beetles but on this listing we are focussing on VIO 480, a February 1974 Kildare registered Beetle. This 1200 Beetle Deluxe was assembled in Dublin before being sent to Kildare to find its first owner. We’re not sure if that same owner was the driver the day that Keith’s photo was taken in Dublin but the Beetle would have been a relatively new car back then so it’s possible.
The Kansas Beige (L91D) paint certainly shines in the photo, especially when you look at how dirty the old Ford Capri is that’s parked beside it!
