Roger O’Sullivan is someone I would consider a historian of the Irish motoring world thanks to his capturing of images going back decades, some show photos and others being random street shots. Combined, Roger’s photos all show a time past, capturing aircooled VWs that are often are no longer around, this 1303 potentially being one of them.
Roger photographed this very well used 1973 1303 in Cork a number of years ago. As you can see, the gutters on this Saturn Yellow (L13M) are not in good condition at all which is a really good indicator as to the condition of the rest of the car, and more importantly, the condition of the areas we can’t see.
