Darren O’Beirne’s Late Bay has a wonderful Irish history and is also known to the its owner which probably goes a long way towards explaining why he was so passionate about its restoration.
Originally sold from PJ Woods in Clane, it is a credit to Darren and to Jon White at VW Spares who carried out the full restoration. Darren’s Bay is of such a high standard that it was invited to display at the Volksworld Show in the UK. The Volksworld Show is Europe’s largest indoor VW show with top cars traveling from all over Europe and even the US but looking at the photos you can see why Darren’s Bay fitted right in.
