“Summer 2022 was when I saw this 1971 original Wicklow registered Beetle come up for sale. According to the seller, the 1200cc engine and gearbox were in good working order and could have been seen running out of the car. The chassis and engine were matching to the car and supposedly, mechanically great and a perfect basis for a restoration. It was for sale a reasonable €850”
